We have stopped here at a very early start of our tours already open for breakfast here at km 52 of the Panamericana Sur. The great atmosphere with many locals and the good and rich breakfast, which we can choose from a large selection, makes it really fun.
The offered breakfast options are very cheap and you can even get to the oven while baking bread to watch the bakers at work. We can always recommend the Pan Artesnales, which can be filled with chicken, cheese, olives and various other ingredients. Everything served together with a good coffee will certainly help you over the next few hours on the sometimes seemingly endless Panamericana Sur until the next stop.
Here, the craft of the old baking style is still maintained, all doughs are prepared by hand. The payment is done here only in cash and if on weekends many people from Lima are on the go, it can happen once that you have to bring a little patience, if you find the larger lines at the counters. Parking is not a problem because there are large parking areas where even buses can find their place.
