Day 1

Lima

Arrival in the city of Lima, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free to do activities of your own interest.

Day 2

Lima – Culinary Tour

Take a fun tour where you can discover the secrets of Peruvian cuisine. We begin our adventure knowing a typical “Peruvian market”, place where many of the selected ingredients that are part of the most delicious Peruvian dishes and desserts are exhibited and marketed; observe unique fruits in the world such as cherimoya, lucuma, aguaymanto or pacae and be amazed by the wide variety of fruits of our sea, considered one of the richest in the world. Later, we will visit an exclusive restaurant, where you can prepare your own “Pisco Sour” and the famous “Ceviche”, then savor a delicious lunch that includes the most representative dishes of our cuisine.

Day 3

Lima / Arequipa – City Tour & Santa Catalina Convent

At the indicated time, departure to the airport to take your flight to the city of Arequipa. At your arrival assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, let yourself be captivated by the beautiful “White City of Arequipa”, named for its architectural constructions with volcanic stone and sillar; know its main square, appreciate its cathedral and colonial churches, make a stop at the Miradores de Carmen Alto and Yanahuara to get the classic photo of the city. Finally, visit the Convent of Santa Catalina visiting its cloisters, cells, sillar fountains with gardens and narrow streets.

Day 3

Lima / Arequipa – City Tour & Santa Catalina Convent

Day 4

Arequipa – Gastronomic Tour

In the morning we will start visiting the traditional market of San Camilo, here you will be able to know the base products that are used in the Arequipeña gastronomy. You can buy or taste some of Arequipa’s flavors and unique fruits on the tour inside the market. Later we have the option of visiting a traditional “picantería” or an exclusive restaurant in the city. In the traditional picantería arequipeña, we can observe and receive information on how the typical dishes of Arequipa are prepared and also appreciate the setting of the picantería and see the use of the stone batanes and the elaboration of chicha de jora, to then taste some dish as a light snack, to finally drink a “turn on and turn off” which is the traditional drink of the Arequipa picanterías of yesteryear. The visit can also be made to a restaurant that offers gourmet food, sea food and Arequipa typical cuisine, where as well as the picantería they will be able to observe and receive the respective information from the chefs regarding the gastronomy they offer and teach the preparation of some juices, drinks and cocktails that are consumed in Arequipa. Also, you can learn how to prepare and then taste the typical Arequipeños desserts such as frozen cheese, corn cake, etc. We will have lunch in one of the restaurants or picanterías more recognized of the region that offer us in its majority a variety of regional plates of the sea and the earth, cooked with a special seasoning in a natural environment. In them we find specialties such as shrimp Takoyaky, ceviches, flying chita, rocoto stuffed with seafood, sole with the dish, rice with black shells, seafood rice, and tiraditos in general. And a variety of dishes on the tenderloin. Rest of the afternoon to rest and in the evening a delicious dinner awaits us in an exclusive restaurant in the center of the city.
