Today Peru was awarded the seal “Safe Travels”, the worldwide seal for safety and hygiene in tourism of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), which states that the international safety and hygiene standards for protection against COVID-19 are being met.
“Safe Travels” is the first global health and safety seal for Travel and Tourism, designed by the WTTC in response to COVID-19 and similar outbreaks. It is free and not a certification.
All are still working to open the doors of the world wonder of Machu Picchu. Remember that the first stage will be for the people of Cusco and gradually national and at least for international visitors.
