Lufthansa resumes operations between Frankfurt and Bogotá

“It is a pleasure for us to return to Colombia and do so under the highest levels of biosecurity. Our measures have made us selected as the safest airline to fly in the world and travelers from Colombia will have the certainty of a safe cabin and the best standards of service,” said Antonio Cuoco, general director for Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela of Lufthansa.

The Lufthansa Group offers travelers certified PCR testing at the Frankfurt and Bogotá airports to facilitate cross-country requirements. The test can be done at the Synlab laboratory at El Dorado airport or at one of the more than 150 Synlab points in Colombia. Test results are obtained in 24 hours for the PCR test, 2 hours for the rapid PCR.

In Frankfurt Lufthansa has partnered with Centogene. Passengers must register online in advance for the test (www.centogene.com/corona) or report to the test center. Likewise, the passenger traveling from Colombia must have the CoronaApp and Check-Mig apps.

As reported by REPORTUR.co, the airline Delta Air Lines announced that it will resume its route between Bogotá and New York as of December 17, which is in addition to the flights from Atlanta to Bogotá, which restarted this month of October with four frequencies per week but as of November 1 will offer daily flights.
